Overview

We are seeking dedicated Landscapers and Labourers to join our team and assist with a variety of outdoor maintenance and construction tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about gardening, horticulture, and landscape development. The successful candidate will work on diverse projects, contributing to the creation and upkeep of beautiful outdoor spaces. Prior experience in landscape maintenance or construction is advantageous, but full training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to develop their skills within the landscaping industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with general landscape installations including planting tree's and hedges, turf laying, paving
  • Operate hand tools such as spades, rakes, and hedge trimmers to carry out routine tasks
  • Use power tools safely for tasks like edging, trimming, and debris removal
  • Support excavation activities using equipment such as excavators under supervision
  • Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient water distribution
  • Perform site preparation including digging, lifting, and moving materials
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
  • Assist with construction projects related to outdoor structures or features as required
  • Conduct routine soft landscape maintenance if required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
  • Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools and equipment is advantageous
  • Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently
  • Basic understanding of irrigation systems and their maintenance is a plus
  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail
  • CSCS is required for working on-site, Labourer card is suitable.
  • Willingness to learn new skills related to construction and landscaping projects
  • Valid personal identification demonstrating eligibility to work in the UK
