To assist where necessary with the day to day management of the kitchens.

  • To assist with the preparation of meals as laid out in menus and dietary requirement sheets.
  • To carry out stock control in the absence of the Chef.
  • To carry out record keeping as necessary.
  • Washing up duties as required.
  • To assist the Chef in ensuring that the hygiene standards with the kitchen meet Local Environment Health Department requirements.
  • To assist the Chef to ensure the well-being and safe keeping of all kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • When necessary, to set tables and trays, serve meals, tidy and clear the Dining Room.
