As the business continues to scale its digital and engineering capability, we are seeking a highly organised and proactive Value Streams Portfolio Co-Ordinator to help drive visibility, alignment, and efficiency across multiple delivery streams.

The Role

As a Value Streams Portfolio Co-Ordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the governance, planning, and performance of a portfolio of engineering and digital value streams. Working closely with Delivery Leads, Product Owners, Programme Managers and senior stakeholders, you will ensure that work is prioritised effectively, dependencies are managed, and delivery teams are set up for success.

This is an ideal position for someone who thrives in a structured yet fast-moving environment and enjoys bringing clarity, organisation, and control to complex multi-team portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate portfolio-wide planning, ensuring value streams have clear roadmaps, capacity forecasts, and aligned delivery plans.
  • Maintain portfolio governance and reporting across multiple engineering and digital workstreams.
  • Track progress, risks, issues, blockers, and performance metrics, ensuring leadership is informed and able to make decisions quickly.
  • Support prioritisation conversations and help teams evaluate scheduling, resource needs, and value delivery.
  • Identify and manage cross-team and cross-stream dependencies to prevent delays and optimise workflow.
  • Organise and facilitate portfolio ceremonies including reviews, steering meetings, and quarterly planning.
  • Maintain portfolio tools, dashboards, and documentation to ensure all data is accurate and accessible.
  • Help embed consistent delivery processes and support continuous improvement across the organisation.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in portfolio coordination, PMO, project coordination, or delivery support within engineering, aerospace, defence, or complex technology environments.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to work with senior stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to spot risks, highlight governance gaps, and drive improvements.
  • Working knowledge of project/portfolio tools (e.g., Jira, ADO, Planview, MS Project, Confluence, or similar).
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and consistency to complex environments.
