Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Underwriter role based in London. The Underwriter will evaluate and analyze risk for insurance applications, assess financial documentation, determine coverage eligibility, and assist in drafting insurance policies. Working closely with clients and internal teams, the Underwriter will ensure compliance with industry regulations while delivering tailored solutions to meet clients' needs. Regular tasks also include preparing detailed risk reports, maintaining client communications, and utilizing data to inform underwriting decisions.

Qualifications

  • Risk assessment, analytical skills, and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in reviewing financial documentation and understanding insurance requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
  • Experience in underwriting or the insurance industry is highly beneficial
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
