Searcys are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join the team at Searcys Events. 

Working as a Kitchen Assistant for Searcys will require you to be an ambassador for this brand and deliver food that creates lasting memories. As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently.

Job Description

0 Hours Contract

Salary: £13.50 per hour

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting chefs with basic food preparation (e.g. chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, plating dishes)

  • Keeping all kitchen areas clean, hygienic, and organized at all times

  • Operating dishwashing equipment and handwashing kitchenware

  • Handling deliveries and ensuring stock is stored properly

  • Emptying bins, cleaning floors, and maintaining general hygiene

  • Following all food safety and health regulations

  • Helping with stock rotation and reporting low inventory levels

Qualifications

  • Hardworking and enthusiastic

  • A team player with a positive attitude

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn

  • Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but not essential — training will be provided
