Job DescriptionAs a Junior Sous Chef at Stowe School, you will help deliver exceptional culinary experiences in a prestigious educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Inspire: Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen team.
- Menu Planning: Contribute to creating modern, fresh dishes.
- Quality Control: Ensure high standards in food preparation and presentation.
- Daily Operations: Oversee kitchen operations and inventory management.
- Special Events: Prepare meals for hospitality services and events.
Who You Are:
- A passionate culinary professional with experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
- A natural leader who motivates the team.
- Committed to culinary excellence and innovation.
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen.
- Level 3 Food Safety certification (because safety is key, even when you're creating magic in the kitchen).
- Passion for leading a team and creating innovative, mouth-watering dishes.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks while staying calm, cool, and collected.
