Overview

Eden Dental Clinic is excited to announce that we are looking for a new member of staff to join our longstanding, happy team in our independently owned dental clinic.

The right candidate will be friendly, reliable, a good team player and play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services in a relaxed and supportive environment.

As a Dental Nurse, you will ensure that patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment, while also maintaining an efficient and organised clinical environment.

We are looking for someone to fill a part-time position, open to qualified candidates or experienced trainee nurses.

Salary is dependant on the person and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
  • Provide excellent patient care by welcoming patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring all information is up to date and compliant with regulations.
  • Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the surgery and surrounding areas in accordance with health and safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up calls to ensure patient attendance and satisfaction.
  • Utilise IT systems for record keeping, appointment management, and inventory control of dental supplies.

Requirements

  • Qualified Dental Nurse or willing to consider an experienced Trainee Dental Nurse.
  • Strong patient care skills with a genuine desire to help others feel at ease during their dental visits.
  • Proficient in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with IT systems used in dental practices is advantageous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
