UPVC Window Fabricator

Overview

Due to high demand we are seeking an experienced UPVC Window Fabricator to join our factory team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabricating windows and doors. You need to be a self starter with all the skills and experience to hit the ground running and add capacity to produce more frames - to a high standard - in the run up to Christmas.

This role is crucial in ensuring the production of high-quality UPVC windows that meet industry standards.

Whilst this is a Fixed Term Contract to the Christmas holidays, if demand continues in the new year we will look to make a permanent appointment. This is therefore a chance to make an impression.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate UPVC windows, doors and french doors according to specifications and technical drawings.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as routers, saws and butt welders.
• Assemble window & door components and ensure proper fitting and functionality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently.

Experience

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment is essential. We are not hiring a trainee at this stage.
• Experience operating heavy machinery.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 1.4 month

Pay: From £13.75 per hour

Expected hours: 39.5 per week
