Job Title: UPVC Window Welder

Location: Cambuslang

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Split Day Shifts

Salary: £13-15 per hour, depending on experience

We are a leading manufacturer of UPVC windows and doors, and we are looking for an experienced UPVC window welder to join our team. As a UPVC window welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating UPVC window frames and sashes to our customer's specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Measuring and cutting UPVC profiles to size
  • Welding UPVC frames and sashes using a variety of welding machines.
  • Assembling frames, sashes, and hardware to create finished windows and doors.
  • Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Participating in training and development activities as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience as a UPVC window welder
  • Proficiency in welding UPVC frames and sashes using various welding machines.
  • Knowledge of UPVC profiles and components used in window fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
