JLR is the UK's largest automotive manufacturer, built around two iconic British car brands: Land Rover, the world's leading manufacturer of premium all-wheel drive vehicles; and Jaguar, one of the world's premier luxury sports saloon and sports car marques. The company employs almost 38,000 people globally and supports around 275,000 more through our retailers, suppliers, and local businesses.
We recognise the importance in identifying talented people to become the next generation of professional retail employees and help us achieve our ambitious growth plans. We are looking for people who share our passion to join our highly successful retail apprenticeship programme.
Our apprenticeship is geared toward training the next generation of fully-fledged Service Technicians/Mechanics. But what does a Service Technician/Mechanic do?

Further notes
We understand the importance of diversity and inclusion. We welcome applications from all backgrounds, especially underrepresented groups such as female applicants or applicants from ethnic minorities.
English and Maths guidance from the government changed on 11th February 2025. This employer wishes to support upskilling in both English and Maths but understands that some applicants aged 19+ may not have the advertised entry grades. These are desired but not essential for success – applications specifically for candidates aged 19+ who have achieved a grade 3/D will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Applicants aged 16-18 are subject to entry grades of a 4 or above or equivalent as advertised.
The closing date for this vacancy is 5/12/2025 and interviews are expected to be held week commencing 5/12/2025. We reserve the right to close the advert early if we receive a sufficient number of applications. We therefore advise candidates to submit their applications as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Please do not contact the retailer. Inspiro Learning are the main point of contact for this vacancy and carry out the full recruitment service for the JLR network. Approaching the retailer directly will not always help your application.
Due to the high number of applications, we cannot provide a timescale on when you are likely to receive a response. As most of our roles are recruited for on an ongoing basis, we will contact you if you are successful at progressing to the next step. It is not possible for us to contact every applicant individually. If you have not heard back on a specific vacancy but find another opportunity that is of interest to you, we welcome an additional application.
