Senior Associate, Claims and Product Experience (CPX)

Location: Denby, UK

Function: SC Johnson Professional, Europe

Contract: 12 Month Fixed term Contract

Overview:
This role contributes subject matter expertise in Claims & Product Experience and End User Insight Research to NPD and Technology Pipeline projects. It supports external scientific publications and works independently with Legal, GSARA, and HQ teams on claims development. Collaboration with Design and Formulation teams is key to supporting R&D initiatives.

About the Role:
You will lead Claims Development and User Experience workstreams within NPD teams, ensuring robust data management and developing bespoke test methods. Your insights will drive innovation and support decision-making across SCJP RD&E projects.

About the Team/Department:
Reporting to CPX Manager, this role is part of the CPX team within SC Johnson Professional, Europe and collaborate closely with internal departments such as well as external research agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Claims Development and User Experience workstreams in NPD projects
  • Maintain CPX-owned elements of the Product Information File
  • Develop bespoke test methods for high-quality data generation
  • Contribute to capability development in End User Insight and Claims Evaluation
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across RD&E
  • Collaborate with Legal and HQ teams on claims substantiation
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support R&D efforts

Experience
You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or Research
  • Expertise in sensory evaluation and statistical analysis (parametric and non-parametric)
  • Practical experience in Sensory Science, Consumer Product Testing, or Consumer Insights Research
