At Noda we're building seamless Open Banking solutions that make payments smarter, faster, and safer. We're now looking for an Legal Counsel to join our team and help drive the next wave of fintech innovation.

Your mission:

  • Draft, review, negotiate standard contracts.
  • Presenting legal position and providing legal advice to different departments of the company.
  • Identifying and communicating potential legal and other transactional risks and participating in developing solutions for mitigation of the said risks.
  • Work with external legal counsels, coordinating their work, and negotiating fee arrangements.
  • Helping Chief Legal Officer in taking care of legal workflows to ensure legal risk management and support the company's growth and success.

What are your skills and experience?

  • LL.B in Law (or equivalent UK-recognised legal qualification).
  • LL.M (completed or in progress) will be considered an advantage.
  • Approximately 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) as a Legal Counsel or Junior Legal Counsel.
  • Strong drafting and reviewing skills for legal documents and contracts in English (C1–C2 level); completion of legal studies or dissertations in English is an asset.
  • Knowledge of UK and EU legal and regulatory frameworks, with an interest in financial services / FinTech.
  • Familiarity with GDPR, data protection laws, and PSD2 is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in legal work.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong self-organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work remotely.
  • Flexibility and adaptability when dealing with changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support collaboration across departments.
