This is a great opportunity for a legal professional who would like to work for a global company in an international Data Privacy role.

The position would best suit someone who has recently qualified (or is close to qualification) or is in the early stages of their legal career.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Senior Legal Director to help build understanding and engagement around the company's global data privacy program.

  • Provide clear, practical advice on a variety of data privacy topics and data sharing projects globally.

  • Support the review and negotiation of commercial contracts — such as e-commerce, software, and consultancy agreements — with a focus on privacy and data protection terms.

  • Draft and advise on key privacy documents, including data processing and data transfer agreements, and support privacy impact assessments.

  • Help keep privacy policies, guidelines, and training materials up to date and easy for colleagues to use.

  • Work with business teams to ensure records of personal data processing are accurately maintained within the company's privacy management system.

  • Assist with managing data subject requests and coordinating responses to potential data incidents.

  • Stay informed about new privacy laws and developments, sharing concise insights with stakeholders and the company's compliance committees.

  • Collaborate with privacy leads, legal teams, internal audit, and other partners to promote good privacy practices across the organisation.

  • Collaborate with external counsel.

About you

  • You are ideally qualified as a solicitor in the UK or as a lawyer in another jurisdiction
  • You are keen to develop your career in an international environment working in the Data Privacy area
  • You have the right to work in the UK (the company does not provide visa sponsorship)

Mode of working

  • This is a hybrid role requiring office presence 3 days a week (and 2 days from home).
  • The working hours can be flexible.
