Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented E-Commerce Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing online sales platforms, maintaining product listings, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of our digital commerce activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent computer literacy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic e-commerce environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and update product listings across various online platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Uploading and optimising new products on Shopify
- Monitor and respond to customer enquiries via email, chat, or phone with professional phone etiquette.
- Perform data entry tasks related to sales transactions, inventory updates, and order processing.
- Utilise Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace tools for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
- Maintain organised records of sales data, customer information, and inventory levels using QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely fulfilment of orders.
- Assist in developing promotional campaigns and analysing sales performance metrics.
- Support administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining filing systems.
Experience
- Previous office experience or administrative background is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
- Experience with data entry tasks and clerical work is advantageous.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy are essential for efficient data management.
