Here's your chance.You want equity, not because it sounds cool at dinner, but because you actually want to own something that matters.The RoleWe are looking for a Founding Systems Architect / Engineer who can bridge architecture, system design, and business analysis. This is a partner-level role: you'll work closely with the founding team to design how our systems interact, ensure robustness and scalability, and document processes so we can move faster.What We're Looking ForArchitecture & DesignOwn the system architecture across our AI products (WhatsApp AI assistant, React Native engineer app, Django/FastAPI dashboards, help desk orchestration).Map and document system interactions (APIs, request/response structures, cloud workflows).Define data flows end-to-end — where data comes from, in what format, how it's processed, and where it goes next.Produce clear technical documentation that turns complex workflows into something buildable.Apply strong systems thinking and communicate designs in plain English.Engineering & DeliveryWork hands-on with Python (FastAPI, Django) and PostgreSQL for schema design, optimisation, and scaling.Build and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred; GCP/Azure), including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation/Terraform, and backups.Set up and improve DevOps pipelines: CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, automated tests, load testing, and web/application servers (e.g. Apache).Troubleshoot effectively using CLI tools (bash).Guide integrations with external CAFM/CRM systems via APIs.Apply a strong ownership mentality — taking features from design through deployment and ensuring reliability in production.Standards & CollaborationChampion best-in-class engineering practices across the stack.Partner with the CTO to refine architecture and shape technical direction.Contribute to product strategy sessions, influencing what gets built next.Carry real responsibility: if something breaks, we fix it together.Focus on delivering customer impact as much as technical elegance.Bonus Points If You HaveBackground:  5+ years as a software engineer, systems engineer, or solutions architect in a high-growth startup or top tech firm.Communication skills:  Comfortable collaborating with engineers, founders, and customers.AI/LLM experience (LangChain, LlamaIndex, prompt engineering, vector stores)Document/OCR processing (PDFs, images)Scheduling & optimisation expertise (resource allocation, SLA-driven scheduling)Familiarity with Typescript, React, and SQLAlchemyExperience measuring product performance and user outcomesWhy It's Worth ItIt won't be easy.
