Role Description

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Founding Engineer for a full-time on-site role in London. You will play a pivotal role in building and scaling Amplytic's AI infrastructure and technology solutions for renewable energy asset management. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and developing scalable software, implementing AI-driven analytics, optimizing system performance, and collaborating closely with diverse teams to drive product innovation. You will also contribute to strategic decision-making and have a significant impact on shaping our technical vision and roadmap.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in software engineering, including proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++
  • Strong knowledge of AI/ML technologies, data structures, and algorithms
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based platforms and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Familiarity with renewable energy industry, contract management, or financial analysis is a strong asset
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
