Core responsibilities

  • Support the design and implementation of a robust marketing analytics infrastructure for long-term success

  • Support a culture of synergy and collaboration of the Marketing Analytics Enablement team with Marketing Product and Data Office teams

  • Optimize data queries and improve performance of analytics tools to support timely project delivery

  • Manage large structured and unstructured datasets

  • Document data processes and create user-friendly guides

  • Support the Global Marketing Performance team in ensuring data accuracy and integrity across all platforms, especially under tight deadlines

  • Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Analytics Engineer to development and maintenance of a marketing analytics data infrastructure

The Marketing Analytics Enablement team is dedicated to building a comprehensive marketing analytics infrastructure that supports the Global Marketing Performance team.

This role is crucial in driving consistency in measurement standards and unlocking actionable insights through data. By collaborating closely with the Global Marketing Performance teams, Marketing Product teams and Data Office, the Marketing Analytics Engineer will ensure that data-driven strategies are effectively implemented, enhancing the overall marketing performance of the organization.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Background in data engineering, data science, computer science, marketing analytics or equivalent practical experience

  • Expert skills in Python and/or Scala and SQL with experience in manipulating large structured and unstructured datasets

  • Knowledge of Apache Spark, and how to tune Spark jobs

  • Experience with DataBricks, Databricks Asset Bundles and Lakeflow Declarative Pipelines (formerly DLT), working with both batch and streaming data

  • Experience working with complex Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and
    knowledge of data transformation best practices

  • Experience with GitHub best practices

  • Thorough and detail-oriented, strong adaptability and passionate about creating business value through data

  • Self-driven, with ability to take ownership and accountability of large initiatives

  • Skilled at conveying complex concepts to non-technical audiences through documentation and walkthroughs

Additional details on this position

  • This is a Manager level role based at 1001 Boylston St. in Boston, MA.

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $113, $169,523.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
