What to expect

he Portfolio Governance & Reporting Lead is a key member of the Transformation and Portfolio Office team, responsible for contributing to the delivery of functional objectives, always modelling the Post Office behaviours, and demonstrating a Postmaster first mindset. 

The Portfolio Governance & Reporting Lead will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery of our transformation portfolio by maintaining robust governance structures and providing effective and efficient support and administration services,  promoting transparency and enabling efficient decision-making.

They will embody a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement, and high performance, with a key focus on delivery.

What you'll need to succeed

·    Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt communication styles and collaborate cross-functionally to drive successful outcomes and business decisions.
·    Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and leaders to build support for functional plans and activity.
·    A trusted advisor with the ability to apply knowledge of their own specialism as well as knowledge of related areas.
·    Ability to present analysis, findings, recommendations and proposals to senior audiences, ensuring buy-in of key stakeholders at all levels even when challenging the status quo or delivery status
·    Ability to deal with ambiguity whilst being flexible and adaptable
·    Commercial business acumen with the ability to make data-driven business decisions.
·    Strong organisational and time management skills with good interpersonal skills.
·    Self-motivated and able to work proactively, independently or as part of a team.
·    Strong attention to detail & not afraid to challenge inconsistencies & non-compliance to standards.
·    Displays a passion for pursuing personal development opportunities & expanding industry knowledge.
