Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ashington. The Management Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analysing financial statements, managing accruals, and ensuring compliance with accounting and finance standards. Key responsibilities include supporting financial planning, monitoring budgets, providing analytical insights to optimise financial performance, and collaborating with internal teams to maintain accurate financial records.
In 2026, we will be introducing new finance software, therefore experience of using Sage Intacct software would be beneficial.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing and analysing Financial Statements and managing Accruals
- Strong Analytical Skills with a focus on identifying trends and providing actionable insights
- Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in Finance and Accounting principles and practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Relevant qualification such as ACCA / ACA, or CIMA
- People management skills

Annual leave -
