**Key Account Executive**
**Purpose of the role**:
- Build long-term, win-win relationships with our distributors
- Nurture incoming enquires through every stage, overcoming obstacles and objections
- Make every lead count to understand the root of the customers’ needs and requirements and see it all the way through to completion of project
- Providing tailored solutions to leverage product or service knowledge to propose customised solutions that align with the customer’s specific goals, emphasising value over cost
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Keep our current customers happy—and help them grow
- Run regular strategy sessions with key accounts
- Customize training and support to help partners sell Raytec products more effectively
- Follow up on hot leads and close deals
- Build a strong, high-quality sales pipeline
- Collaborate with marketing to launch territory-specific campaigns
- Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to stay organized and track your wins and customer interactions
- Attend trade shows, events, and customer visits to expand your network
- Manage your daily and monthly workload to ensure key customers and kept updated on the latest news at Raytec

- Great people skills - confident communicator and strong presenter
- Ability to solve problems for customers
- Ability to grasp and explain technical solutions in a clear, easily understood manner
- High levels of empathy with the ability to understand customer requirements and interpret their root requirements
- Natural networker - you enjoy building and maintaining relationships
- Comfortable using technology
**Desirable Skills**
- Key Account Management
- Experience in customer service
- Ability to absorb technical information
- Ability to listen toy customers
- Attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
**Reporting to**:
This role is reporting to the Commercial Manager.
**Working Hours**:
This is a Full-Time position working 08.30 - 17:00 Mon
- Thursday, 8.30-2.30 Friday as standard.
**Location**:
The role is based at our Head Office in Ashington, Northumberland from Mon - Wed and remote Thu - Fri
