Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food production, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection while contributing to a positive and efficient kitchen environment.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared safely and hygienically, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Assist in the management of kitchen operations, including supervising junior kitchen staff when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock rotation to minimise waste.
  • Contribute creative ideas for menu development and enhancements based on seasonal ingredients.
