Description

As a Software Developer, you'll work as part of our experienced engineering team to build, test and deliver high-quality software within our SaaS platform. You'll gain hands-on experience with modern technologies, work alongside senior developers, and learn how to build secure, scalable applications used by regulated financial firms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain features within the Vaiie Onboard SaaS platform
  • Write clean, testable and maintainable code following best practices
  • Collaborate with the team on planning, design and code reviews
  • Assist in integrating third-party APIs and data sources
  • Troubleshoot issues and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
  • Support software testing, deployment and documentation processes
  • Learn and apply secure coding and data protection principles

In this role you can expect to work with C#, TypeScript, React, and running on Azure. We're happy to help the right person cross-skill from other languages.

You'll likely have:

1–3 years' experience in software development (or strong academic / portfolio experience)

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and work as part of a team
  • Good communication and attention to detail
  • Opinions on architectural styles, design patterns and programming languages

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to SaaS product development or enterprise web applications
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD, Git or Agile environments
  • Experience with a modern JS framework
  • Knowledge of secure development best practices
  • Interest in RegTech, FinTech or compliance-related applications
  • Interest in integrating third-party identity or business verification APIs
  • Understanding of public cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud)
Benefits
  • Competitive salary and benefits
  • Structured mentoring and clear career development path
  • Flexible hybrid working model (office in St Helier, Jersey)
  • Opportunity to work with experienced developers on modern technologies
  • Be part of a growing, innovation-driven SaaS company making an impact in the regulated financial sector
