About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team and contribute to creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for our technical products and APIs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, with a focus on API and product documentation in English. This role involves collaborating with engineering, product, and design teams to produce high-quality documentation that empowers users and developers.

An ideal candidate meets the following requirements:

  • Proven experience in writing API and product documentation in English, with a portfolio of samples demonstrating technical depth and clarity.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts, with the ability to explain them to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Professional experience in writing Markdown.

Additionally, any of the following qualifications may help a candidate stand out:

  • Some experience with programming languages and web technologies, including Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with git.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices for online documentation.

Interview Process

  • Exercise on your technical and writing background
  • Q&A-style interview about your technical background
