Head of Market Data Insights
Position Overview
At Superbet, data isn't a support function—it's at the heart of every major decision we make. Our data insights team operates at the intersection of product, commercial, and marketing strategy. Your leadership will ensure our analyses directly shape how millions of customers engage with our products, driving business growth and innovation.
We are seeking an experienced Head of Market Data Insights to lead our data-driven understanding of Superbet's business across multiple regions. This strategic role will provide the analytical depth and clarity needed to inform both local execution and group-level decision-making. You will partner closely with Country Managers and central Data teams to build unified analytics capabilities, standardise data frameworks, and ensure every market has access to consistent, high-quality insights that drive commercial performance.

Market Analytics & Insight Enablement
- Translate commercial objectives into clear, measurable KPIs and consistent analytics frameworks in partnership with Country Managers and senior stakeholders
- Lead market performance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring strategic focus
- Develop insight communications that inform market priorities, initiative planning, and performance reviews
- Build mechanisms to compare performance across markets, highlighting key learnings and best practices
- Ensure markets are equipped with data and tools to make decisions based on evidence, not assumptions
- Drive alignment on key definitions, data structures, and reporting logic to ensure consistency across all markets
- Collaborate with central Data Engineering, BI, and Data Products teams to design scalable data models and reliable pipelines supporting market needs
- Support new market launches by defining data requirements, establishing analytics foundations, and ensuring readiness for performance tracking
- Act as the bridge between business requirements and data capabilities, ensuring that solutions are practical, reliable, and business-relevant
- Ensure all analytics activities within Markets align with the broader company data strategy
- Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing across local analytics teams, building consistency in methods, tools, and reporting standards
- Provide input into central analytics initiatives to ensure market needs are represented in global priorities
- Partner with product and commercial VPs to integrate market data insights into decision-making processes
- Lead and develop a team of analysts focused on market performance, insights, and standardisation
- Define clear roles, objectives, and success metrics for the team, ensuring alignment with market and group priorities
- Promote a culture of analytical excellence, curiosity, and continuous improvement
- Create opportunities for growth and upskilling within the team, ensuring capability scales with company expansion
- Implement standardised hiring processes that ensure consistent, high-quality talent acquisition across all data teams
- Mentor and develop data professionals to maximize their impact and career growth
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- 8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or insights, with at least 5 years in a leadership role including leading other managers
- Proven experience leading analytics or insights teams in multi-market, data-driven organisations
- Strong expertise in SQL, BI tools (e.g. Tableau), and data modelling
- Experience defining and operationalising KPI frameworks and business performance metrics
- Demonstrated ability to standardise analytics practices across regions or business units
- Ability to translate complex data concepts for non-technical audiences and drive data-driven decision making
- Proven track record in building and developing high-performing teams that deliver measurable business impact
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing data professionals across multiple locations
- Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field
- Experience in the sports betting, gaming, iGaming, or entertainment industry
- Experience with Snowflake, Tableau, or similar data warehousing and visualization tools
- Previous experience at top-tier tech companies or high-growth scale-ups
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, experimentation, and ML techniques
- Experience supporting new market launches and expansion initiatives
