Job Summary :We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part-Time Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the practice and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patients.

Working Days & Hours

· Monday: 8:15am – 2:30pm

· Tuesday: 8:15am – 2:30pm

· Thursday: 8:15am – 2:30pm

· Occasional cover may be required

Responsibilities

· Greet patients warmly as they arrive

· Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently

· Handle patient enquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information regarding services and treatments

· Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality in compliance with data protection regulations

· Process payments and manage billing enquiries effectively

· Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the day

· Assist in maintaining a clean and organised reception area

· Perform additional administrative tasks as required to support the dental team

Skills

· Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

· Knowledge of dental practice software, Software of Excellence, is essential

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

· Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude

· Previous experience in a dental practice or clinical reception environment is essential

Salary £12.30ph

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
