What are we looking for?

We're looking for Retail Volunteers who can bring smiles and a sprinkle of fun to our charity shops, along with a helpful attitude, a willingness to learn and a desire to get stuck in

Retail experience? Great No experience? No problem—we'll train you.

What's in it for you?

What might you be doing?

  • Chatting with customers,
  • Sorting donations
  • Steaming clothes
  • Pricing treasures
  • Working the till.
  • Basically, keep the shop buzzing and looking great

What do we need from you?

· A friendly attitude and willingness to help customers.

  • Reliability – committing to the agreed shift and communicating any holidays to allow for cover (or take us with you)
  • Openness to learning new skills (we'll provide full training).
  • Ability to work with others and follow shop guidelines.
  • A positive approach to keeping the shop tidy and welcoming.
  • Commitment to supporting the hospice's values and mission.

Hours available – We have opportunities across various shop locations, with flexible shifts to suit you.

Most volunteers join us for around 4 hours in the morning or afternoon, Monday to Saturday. Whether you can give one shift a week or more, we'll work with you to find a time and place that fits your schedule.
