At Available Car, we are a family-run business with a passion for providing outstanding service. We are currently looking for a Parts Administrator to support our busy Preparation Centre in Sutton-in-Ashfield, ensuring parts, invoices, and workshop schedules are managed efficiently.

What you'll be doing:

  • Ordering & Managing Parts – Ordering parts as required, price and part matching, and ensuring timely availability.
  • Costing & Work Lines – Accurately recording and costing workshop jobs.
  • Invoice Processing – Verifying and inputting invoices to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Supplier Liaison – Communicating with suppliers to ensure correct pricing, stock availability, and timely deliveries.
  • General Administration – Handling queries, completing paperwork, and assisting with ad-hoc admin tasks.
  • Team Collaboration – Working closely with the Workshop, Parts, and Accounts departments to support operations.
  • Maintaining Professionalism – Keeping a friendly and professional attitude when dealing with internal teams and suppliers.

About you:

We are looking for a confident and proactive Parts Administrator with previous experience in the motor trade. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment, so the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads is essential.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous motor trade experience – Knowledge of car parts & accessories is essential.
  • IT proficiency – Comfortable using Microsoft Office and parts management systems (CDK Drive/Kerridge experience is advantageous).
  • Strong communication skills – Ability to liaise with team members at all levels and maintain professional relationships with suppliers.
  • Attention to detail – Accuracy in invoicing, costing, and administration.
  • Organised & self-motivated – Able to work independently and as part of a team, completing tasks within set timeframes.
  • Problem-solving skills – Ability to handle internal and external queries efficiently.
