Overview

Strip steak bar is a brand new fun concept coming to the city of London Bringing high energy and great steaks in a fast paced , fun environment . we are looking for chefs that have a passion for producing great food , can work efficiently and as a team and most importantly have bags of personality and character . Strip will be fun , innovative and challenging we want individuals that are passionate about what they do but want to step out of the usual restaurant mundane chef style and into something a bit more current

Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery during busy service periods
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, and grills
  • Support the team in plating dishes attractively and accurately
  • Follow all hygiene protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless service experiences
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to different roles within the kitchen as needed
  • Prior experience serving or working in customer-facing roles is advantageous but not essential
