Flooring Fitter

Job Overview

We are seeking a Carpet and/or Flooring Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering high quality fitting, demonstrable through references and examples of previous work.

We have been working across Fenland and Cambridgeshire for over 35 years so we are looking for someone reliable, friendly, trustworthy and professional to uphold our values and reputation with our customers.

Days and hours of work each week, along with rates of pay are negotiable and can be discussed at interview.

The candidate will be expected to:

• Prepare sub-floors (levelling, screeding, plywood, removing old coverings)
• Install a variety of floor coverings: Sheet Vinyl / Lino, Carpet, Carpet Tiles, Laminate Flooring, LVT / P as required
• Ensure flawless finish — tight seams, correct adhesion, neat edges/skirtings
• Travel to job sites (own vehicle required)
• Liaise with clients/occupants in a courteous, professional manner

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpet / flooring fitter
• Competent with sub-floor preparation and multiple flooring types
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
• Able to work independently and maintain high standards of finish
• Good time-management, reliability and attention to detail
• A good problem solver
