We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented
BI Engineer
to join our dynamic, agile team in London. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain robust reporting and data solutions that enhance efficiency, automate processes, and drive strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for gathering, cleaning, and integrating data from diverse sources, developing efficient Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) procedures, and utilizing BI tools such as
Tableau
and
Power BI
to create clear, impactful dashboards and reports. Advanced skills in
Excel
,
Power Query
, and
VBA
will be essential for designing robust solutions and streamlining repetitive tasks through automation.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a BI Engineer, strong proficiency in
SQL
and data warehousing concepts, and
retail experience is essential
, particularly within general supply chain logistics. Any
client-facing experience
would be highly advantageous, as you may interact with business users to understand requirements and present insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business needs into effective technical specifications, reverse engineer existing systems to ensure alignment with best practices, and maintain comprehensive documentation. Additional desirable skills include
Python
,
Azure/AWS
, ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or MS Dynamics, and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
