Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team. This role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring a seamless experience from the moment they arrive. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly disposition, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimise guest flow.
  • Provide menu information and assist guests with their selections, including dietary requirements.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely service.
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, waiting areas, and restrooms.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service role or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and colleagues alike.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in a busy environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations is advantageous but not mandatory as training will be provided.
