Role details:

The candidate will develop and maintain an integrated programme schedule, working closely with project schedulers and leads to drive delivery. They will support the Programme Controls and Integration Manager in establishing strong programme controls and reporting across time, cost, and scope, ensuring the programme stays within approved budgets and timelines and that all management information is accurate and aligned to overall strategy and affordability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Programme Controls & Integration Manager in establishing scheduling and programme control capabilities.
  • Build and maintain the integrated programme schedule in P6, working with Project Schedulers, Project Managers, and Delivery Agents to gather progress updates.
  • Perform critical path, dependency, and milestone analysis and reporting.
  • Lead scheduling practices across the programme, developing consistent processes and tools for quality schedule control.
  • Contribute to governance, schedule performance analysis, and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Support change management and risk management processes, including QSRA inputs.
  • Promote collaboration across programme and customer teams and ensure adherence to best-practice standards.
  • Undertake additional duties as required by the Programme Controls & Integration Manager.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and technical planning capability.
  • Excellent engagement and communication skills.
  • Skilled in producing and presenting reports to senior management.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Advanced Primavera P6 and scheduling expertise, including interrogation of third-party schedules.
  • Experience delivering major programmes with integrated schedules across all lifecycle stages.
  • Solid knowledge of planning methods, programme control, and progress monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of risk, opportunity management, delay, and change analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Power BI.
