With over 120 sites across Southern England there's plenty of opportunity for you to grow, learn and develop. We are now seeking a talented Support Chef to join our fantastic team

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working together with our onsite teams to provide support and training
  • Supporting our portfolio of schools to maintain the smooth running of the kitchen
  • To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch, and following the companies brand standards
  • To comply with all Company policies and regulations in respect of health, safety, and environmental management at work and to ensure the highest standards of kitchen practice and hygiene
  • Take responsibility for menu planning, production levels, food costing, ordering and stock control, as appropriate.

Our ideal Support Chef will be:

  • Passionate about food and great customer service
  • A fantastic communicator who works well as part of a team. Good communication skills throughout our customer and client journey are a must, with excellent supervisory skills being the real key to managing, developing, and motivating a team.
  • You will need to be financially astute, but we'll make sure you receive full training in all our processes and software systems to help you.
  • A craft background with qualifications/experience to match.

Role details and benefits include:

  • We are offering a salary of up to £37,000 per annum.
  • Mileage/travel allowance
  • Monday – Friday 40 hours a week

As you will be working in Education, you must provide two employment/character references, and we'll also carry out an Enhanced DBS / Criminal Record Check as well (which we'll pay for).
