About The Job
The Interim Head of Digital / Digital Director role is a temporary mission that is opening to cover a maternity leave for a duration of 10 months (flexible) starting in March 2026.

The mission on this role is to define and drive the Digital vision, ensuring revenue growth, premium customer experience, and brand consistency across all online platforms for our United Kingdom, Ireland and South Africa region.

This executive role orchestrates the integration of commercial, marketing, technological, and operational dimensions of Digital while positioning the brand at the forefront of digital excellence. The role is part of our Steering Committee and reports to the General Manager of Louis Vuitton UK, Ireland & South Africa.

Job responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Business Development

  • Design and lead the regional Digital strategy aligned with Maison priorities and market opportunities
  • Define performance targets and business KPIs (traffic, conversion, revenue, customer retention)
  • Expand Digital presence across owned platforms and third parties
  • Identify and pursue growth levers including new channels and service innovations
  • Driving an omnichannel roadmap to deliver best in class Client Experience

Operational Excellence and Platform Management

  • Oversee digital operations, logistics coordination, customer care integration, and tech reliability
  • Lead the continuous improvement of digital storefronts, checkout flows, and post-purchase experience
  • Drive digital traffic and conversion through CRM, paid media, SEO/SEM and social commerce strategies
  • Foster brand desirability online through immersive content, UX design, and editorial excellence
  • Implement personalization and omnichannel continuity strategies using customer data insight

Leadership and Cross-Functional Influence

  • Lead and inspire the Digital teams
  • Align closely with merchandising, supply chain, finance, and legal to ensure integrated execution and inspire the team
  • Represent the Digital domain in strategic committees and executive decision-making
  • Develop vendor partnerships and manage digital Budget and ROI
  • Close partnership with Client Service based in Bruxelles, Belgium in driving performance and collaboration with Retail

Profile

  • Graduate in Business Management with at least 12 years of progressive Digital / Ecommerce experience on different roles in our region
  • Previous experience in managing a team is a must, ideally in the luxury goods industry
  • Mastery of Digital tools and usual systems
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Sense of anticipation and increased priority management
  • Strong analytical and information synthesis skills
  • Pragmatic and caring leadership with assertive and courageous communication, you are a driving force for change
  • Real appetite for interactions with multiple stakeholders to advance your cases
  • Ability to evolve and adapt in a dynamic environment requiring agility and initiative
