Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence. Duties

  • Identify and pursue new sales leads through market research, networking, and industry events.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the organisation's client base and increase revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients whilst exploring opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Utilise Salesforce and other CRM software to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyse sales data for informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that support business growth objectives.
  • Prepare compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify potential opportunities or threats.

Experience

  • Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within a similar industry.
  • Demonstrable success in achieving sales targets through strategic prospecting and relationship management.
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce CRM or similar CRM software for managing sales pipelines and customer data.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive approach with a keen understanding of market dynamics and customer needs. Candidates should be organised, motivated, and eager to contribute to organisational success through innovative business development strategies. Prior experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce is highly desirable for this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Graduate

Pay: £38,400.00-£43,400.00 per year
