IT Support Analyst – Edinburgh (Hybrid) – Permanent - £35k plus Benefits

Change Digital are supporting our established client to join their dynamic
Service Desk team
, an eight-person group supporting over 500 users. The team provides first, second, and third-line support on a rota basis and contributes to planning, delivery, and documentation of various IT projects.

The Role

As an
IT Support Analyst
, you will play a key role in maintaining and deploying our client's technology infrastructure and supporting end users.

Primary Duties:

  • Maintain and deploy laptop and desktop operating systems and applications.
  • Test, commission, and install new software, hardware, and IT systems.
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of IT procedures and processes.
  • Act as a technical resource in projects as directed by the manager.

Secondary Duties:

  • Provide 2nd line application, OS, and hardware support for internal and remote workers.
  • Resolve user issues promptly and escalate where appropriate.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the manager.

Essential:

  • Experience in OS and application deployment.
  • Strong technical support capability covering Windows 10, MS Office, Active Directory, MS Exchange, and iOS configuration (including EMM experience).

Technical Skills/Experience:

  • Ability to identify issues outside expertise and seek assistance.
  • Initiative to obtain relevant information to complete tasks.
  • Produces solutions that meet requirements with guidance.
  • Effective communication skills.
