We're also proud to be part of Octopus, the £multi billion group that's on a mission to breathe new life into broken industries, through companies like Octopus Energy, Octopus Investments and Octopus Money.

The role
We're looking for a Senior IT support analyst to join our TechOps team, reporting to the TechOps manager. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive technology change at Seccl, supporting our growth plans and ensuring our IT infrastructure is robust, scalable, and future-ready.
Our TechOps team sits within Engineering and underpins Seccl's modern workplace. It's a fast-moving, collaborative environment, championing technology adoption and operational excellence. They lead on IT projects, drive process automation, and ensure our systems are secure and efficient. As a Senior IT Support Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting our staff, delivering the TechOps roadmap, supporting major projects, and sharing knowledge across the business.
On a typical day you will be…
- Providing 2nd and 3rd line support to staff across the business
- Driving IT projects, championing technology change across Seccl, ensuring the business and key stakeholders are kept up to date
- Working with departments to improve and automate processes, taking advantage of technology and removing manual pain points, ensuring Seccl can scale
- Managing and optimising identity and device management platforms (Entra ID, Jamf, Intune)
- Accountable for Jamf / MDM to ensure we're using it to full capacity, I.E. laptop build automation, controlled software centre, secure devices, automated patching
- Overseeing Barracuda backup solutions, including disaster recovery
- Upskilling TechOps and wider teams to share knowledge and best practices
This role's for you if...
- You have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- You're experienced with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, and Exchange Online
- You have hands-on experience with Jamf and Apple device management in enterprise settings
- You're skilled in stakeholder engagement, documentation, and solution architecture
- You have a collaborative approach and enjoy cross-team working
- You have experience with Microsoft Power Platform (desirable)
- You've managed Barracuda backup solutions (desirable)
- You have basic knowledge of cloud services like AWS, EC2/S3/VPC, hybrid cloud (desirable)
This role isn't for you if...
- You rely on a lot of top-down direction. Here, you'll have a lot of freedom and ownership of your role, and you'll be expected to shape your own progression
- You're not comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Our speed and scalability are what set us apart; you need to be able to act quickly and think on your feet
- You struggle to follow through on ideas. We value people who do what they say they will. If you care about something, you have the freedom here to make it happen
- You don't like change. You'll get on great here if you relish the ambiguity of rapid growth and are willing to embrace uncertainty
