People Business Partner

6-month FTC, potential to extend or go permanent

Glasgow (Hybrid, circa 1-2 days on-site)

Salary up to £55000 DOE

We're looking for a confident, impact-driven People Business Partner to lead high-stakes organisational change, major TUPE programmes and complex ER activity across a fast-paced, commercial environment.

This is a critical role at a pivotal moment: you'll step straight into transformation work, partnering closely with leaders to shape and deliver people change that genuinely moves the business forward.

What you'll lead on

  • Large volume TUPEs from end to end
  • Organisational change, restructures and reorganisation activity
  • High-risk and complex ER matters, ensuring commercially sound, pragmatic outcomes
  • Coaching and influencing senior stakeholders through ambiguous, fast-moving change
  • Using people data and insights to inform decisions and strengthen organisational effectiveness
  • Setting the tone for a fair, inclusive, high-performance culture during periods of transition

What you'll bring

  • Deep expertise in TUPE, organisational change and ER - this is essential
  • A calm, credible partner who can challenge, influence and advise at a senior level
  • Experience operating in a high-paced, commercial setting with shifting priorities
  • Strong employment law knowledge and a practical, solutions-focused mindset
  • The ability to manage sensitive, business-critical situations with confidence and clarity
  • Can work autonomously and also collaboratively, and hit the ground running
  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent degree-level qualification)

Why this role?

You'll have the autonomy, visibility and influence to make a significant impact within a short timeframe, with scope for the role to extend or become permanent as transformation continues. If you're a seasoned People Business Partner who thrives on change and wants to lead meaningful, business-critical work, we'd love to hear from you.
