Companies House Administrator

Job Overview
We are a long established Chartered Accountancy Firm based in Fareham and we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Companies House Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. You will be responsible for managing statutory filings, maintaining company records, and liaising with clients to ensure compliance with Companies House requirements. There is also the potential to assist in a general administration role if there is available time.
Responsibilities
· File confirmation statements and update statutory information
· Appoint/resign directors, secretaries, PSCs, RLEs, and LLP members
· Manage share transactions (transfers, redesignations, allotments, cancellations)
· Handle incorporations, name changes, strike-offs, and SIC code updates
· Prepare statutory documents (resolutions, dividend vouchers, ID checks)
· Maintain statutory books and ensure accurate record-keeping
· Liaise directly with clients and respond to enquiries professionally
Experience
· Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
· Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage workload independently
· Strong communication skills with a professional and polite manner
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
· Strong numeracy skills
· Self-motivated, reliable, and a team player
· Confident in handling direct client communication
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £12.80 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
