Job Summary

NVQ Level 3 required.

As a Care Assistant, you will be vital in providing high-quality care and support to our residents our residents with a compassionate approach will help enhance the quality of life for those you assist, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will be responsible for delivering the care plans and documenting care as you go.

Duties

  • Assist residents with daily activities, including personal hygiene and getting dressed and undressed.
  • Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support, encouraging social interaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in conditions to the appropriate Senior Care.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Drive clients to appointments or social activities when required.

Skills

  • Proficient in developing and following care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents and their families.
  • Experience in working within a care home setting is advantageous.
  • Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating with team members.
  • A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential for success in this role.
