About the Role
We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated Support Workers / Health Care Assistants to join our team. You will be supporting children, young people, and adults with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that challenge across a range of residential, supported living, and community settings.
Your role is to help individuals live fulfilling, independent, and meaningful lives while ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support tailored to each individual's needs.
- Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household duties.
- Support individuals with communication, social skills, and emotional regulation.
- Promote independence, choice, and inclusion in everyday activities.
- Encourage participation in hobbies, education, employment, and community outings.
- Implement positive behaviour support (PBS) strategies and follow care plans.
- Administer medication (after training) and maintain clear, accurate records.
- Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and the wider support team.
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, or behaviours that challenge (desirable).
- A caring, patient, and resilient approach.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging situations confidently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to undertake training and develop professionally.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins (where required).
- A valid UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Pay: £12.21-£20.43 per hour
