DRW is currently seeking a
Workplace Coordinator
for our London office. This role will provide general facilities and office support and report to the London Workplace Manager.
Responsibilities
- Organize and host building subcontractor visits/servicing on site.
- Day-to-day management of catering, cleaning, and plant contracts.
- Manage weekly kitchen-appliance cleaning and ongoing maintenance schedules.
- Raise building and parking permits.
- Lead end-to-end Vicinitee ticket management and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with workplace-related projects (e.g., construction).
- Manage office onboarding/offboarding: maintain photo directory; coordinate building access and badges/keys.
- Serve as Health & Safety Officer and Fire Marshal: annual fire-risk assessment, evacuation drills and internal comms, PAT (portable appliance) testing, and monthly fire-extinguisher checks.
- Maintain office furniture and equipment; ensure general cleanliness and order.
- Provide reception cover when required.
- Handle ad-hoc workplace requests, including external errands, as needed.
- Assist with office activities, events, and other business needs as assigned.
- Attend and minute meetings with the Workplace Manager.
- Manage off-site warehouse space.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years' administrative or facilities management experience.
- Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Minimum A-Level education.
- Self-motivated; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and team-player attitude; willing to help teammates as needed.
- Flexible working style to meet changing business needs.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends.
- Full UK driving license (for occasional off-site cover/errands).
- Familiarity with Verkada and Lenel security systems (useful).
- Interest in food, beverage, and events (useful).
