About the Role

Skybod Healthcare Ltd is looking for dedicated and compassionate live-in care workers to provide one-to-one, person-centred support for clients in their own homes.

As a self-employed live-in carer, you'll have the freedom to manage your own work while offering clients the highest standard of personal care, companionship, and daily living assistance — helping them live safely and comfortably in familiar surroundings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personal care such as washing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with medication management and wellbeing routines
  • Prepare meals and help with light household tasks
  • Provide companionship, emotional reassurance, and encouragement
  • Support mobility and safe movement around the home
  • Accompany clients to appointments, walks, or social activities
  • Observe and report any changes in health or wellbeing

Self-Employment Information

This role is for self-employed candidates only.

  • You'll need a UTR (Unique Taxpayer Reference) number from HMRC.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months' care experience (live-in or domiciliary)
  • Self-employed or willing to register as such
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain)
  • Right to work in the UK and verifiable references
  • Naturally caring, trustworthy, and professional
  • Bonus: NVQ Level 2/3 or First Aid certification
