HR Business Partner

We're now looking for a commercially minded HR Business Partner to join our Specialist Markets business. Reporting to the HR Director and working closely with our Centres of Expertise (Resourcing, Reward, and Talent Development), you'll act as a trusted advisor to Regional Directors, senior managers, and business leaders. Your work will shape how we attract, develop, and retain talent across our Specialist Markets brands, ensuring we build a culture of performance, growth and engagement.

As a HRBP for Specialist Markets you will:

  • Develop and deliver people strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Coach leaders and managers on HR and people matters.
  • Drive strategic and operational HR projects, from resourcing to retention.
  • Champion a high-performance culture through talent management initiatives.
  • Act as a change agent, leading organisational change and engagement programmes.
  • Lead employee relations strategy, providing high-quality, consistent advice.
  • Use data and insights to identify people trends, recommend solutions, and measure impact.
  • Ensure reward and recognition practices are fair, consistent, and performance-driven.
  • Contribute to wider HR forums, including DE&I, to share best practice across SIG.

What We're Looking For:

  • CIPD-qualified (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven HRBP experience, working with senior leaders in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong employee relations expertise and ability to coach managers effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in leading change programmes (e.g. acquisitions, OD).
  • Broad HR generalist knowledge (reward, talent, resourcing, L&D).
  • High levels of resilience, commercial awareness, and the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and work flexibly as required.
