About the roleAre you a natural problem-solver with a passion for making things work better? The Department of Chemistry at the University of Oxford is looking for an experienced and collaborative Change and Continuous Improvement Manager to help us enhance our HR operations and strengthen the way we support our people.Reporting directly to the Head of HR, you'll lead a series of improvement projects focused on streamlining HR processes — from recruitment to day-to-day operational workflows — ensuring our systems and practices are as effective and efficient as the world-class academic community we serve.You'll build strong partnerships across HR, academic departments, and senior leadership to understand priorities and drive improvement. You'll support and train colleagues to embed improvement practices, develop performance metrics to track success, and share lessons learned to promote a culture of continuous improvement across the department.You'll be joining a welcoming, high-performing HR team at one of the world's most respected universities. This is a rare opportunity to help shape how we work, drive meaningful change, and leave a lasting impact on our people and processes.About youYou're a confident communicator who builds positive relationships and influences effectively at all levels. Organised and analytical, you have a keen eye for process detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
