Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales, B2B sales, and technology sales, coupled with exceptional leadership skills. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and implement effective sales strategies while fostering a culture of high performance within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to enhance performance and ensure accountability.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market analysis and customer engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee account management processes to maximize client retention and growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales initiatives with promotional campaigns.
  • Utilize Salesforce for tracking sales activities, forecasting, and reporting on performance metrics.
  • Conduct negotiations with clients to secure profitable contracts while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their skills.

Experience

  • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales is essential.
  • Strong management experience with a track record of leading successful teams.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools for effective account management and reporting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, business development, and technical sales processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess market conditions and drive informed decision-making.
  • Strong leadership qualities with a focus on motivating teams to achieve their goals.
