Duties

  • Assist in overseeing daily food and beverage operations, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
  • Support the supervision of staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Coordinate food preparation and cooking processes to meet safety and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all kitchen and service areas.
  • Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and oversee food production to minimise waste.
  • Serve as a point of contact for guests, addressing enquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Support the organisation of special events or functions, including menu planning and staffing.
  • Collaborate with the senior management team to develop new menus or promotional initiatives.
  • Assist in maintaining health and safety protocols across all food and beverage outlets.

Experience

  • Proven experience in supervising or managing within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
  • Experience in food safety standards, food production, and service delivery.
  • Familiarity with hospitality management systems is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Previous experience in restaurant or hotel settings, including barista or serving roles, is desirable.
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and hospitality best practices is essential. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent organisational skills, a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences, and the ability to lead by example within a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £33,000.00-£36,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
