The team…

IT Services are looking to recruit a Service Desk Analyst providing first line support across the infrastructure. The team consists of Service Delivery, Release and Change and Desktop Delivery.

About the role….

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and customer focused individual to advance their career with Gateshead Council.

IT Services are looking to recruit a full time Service Desk Analyst working within the IT Service Delivery Team. Reporting to the Service Desk Team Leader, you will provide first line support across the entire infrastructure, delivering prompt, professional and customer focused services with every interaction.

Applicants should have:

Experience in an IT customer support, service delivery role.

  • A strong customer focus.
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 applications & Windows 10 operating system.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Good team working skills.
  • 5 GCSEs at Grade 9-4 or Grade A-C, or equivalent

  • You'll be paid a competitive salary £29,540 to £32,061 pa
