Leveraged Finance Associate (2-5 PQE) - Leading US Law Firm (London)

Overview:
A prestigious US-headquartered law firm with a highly regarded London finance practice is seeking a mid-level associate (2-5 years' PQE) to join its market-leading
Leveraged Finance team
. The group advises top-tier sponsors, lenders, and corporates on complex cross-border financing transactions across Europe and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on a broad range of
    leveraged and acquisition finance transactions.
  • Act for a diverse client base, including
    private equity sponsors, direct lenders, and investment banks
    .
  • Coordinate with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions on
    cross-border deal execution
    .
  • Support senior lawyers and partners on deal structuring, execution, and client relationship management.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent common law jurisdiction).
  • 2-5 years' PQE
    gained at a leading international or top-tier UK firm.
  • Strong experience in
    leveraged or acquisition finance
    , ideally representing both lenders and borrowers.

  • Excellent drafting and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex workstreams independently
