The Opportunity
We're looking for a Research Technician to join our customer`s Global Cell Bank team in Cambridge. This fully operational, lab-based role supports cell culture activities and ensures smooth weekend operations (Friday–Monday) as part of our 7-day science initiative.

As a
Research Technician
, you'll be at the heart of our cell culture operations, supporting cutting-edge research and ensuring our labs never miss a beat.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine cell culture and banking
- Support tissue culture by providing live cultures (Flasks/Plates) for screening
- Cultivate HEK293, CHO, and ExpiSF9 cell lines for recombinant protein expression workflows (transfection, feed, harvest)
- Prepare reagents and media, aliquoting as needed
- Conduct QC testing and data analysis
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards
- Deliver seamless handovers to keep operations smooth
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent lab experience
- Hands-on expertise in cell and tissue culture and aseptic techniques
- Familiarity with IT systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong attention to detail, proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills
